The learning LINK held at JDE has been designed as a response to our communities learning needs due to COVID-19. Many children will be making the switch to remote learning for the 2020-2021 school year and need a safe and secure learning environment that provides a space for independent learning, as well as safe social interaction.

Led by JDE Staff, The LINK will provide an opportunity for students to complete their required remote learning, as well as participate in special workshops, projects, and classes. Each learning space will have mentors to monitor students throughout their day.

The LINK is offered as a full day monthly program, to fit each student remote learning requirements outlined by their school.

To maintain proper social distancing, students will be separated into groups of no more than 12 per space. Groups will be determined by age. All students will have the opportunity to socialize at various times throughout the day.
